In October 2014, Nick Murray's Bushlife Safaris hosted a BBC reconnaissance team at Vundu Camp in Mana Pools National Park, Zimbabwe. 

 

The team had been sent out to do a preliminary assessment of the park for the BBC Natural History Unit's upcoming landmark documentary series, Dynasties. 

 

 

The first shoot took place from January 2015 through to November 2016. During this time, a total of 850 filming days captured the lives of the painted wolves in Mana Pools. 

 

The documentary is narrated by Sir David Attenborough, who we were honoured to host at Vundu Camp for a week in April 2018.
